Last night was Trent & Allison’s birthday part at Black Rock. Their birthdays are on the same day of the same year, so starting last year, they’ve been having a combined party. There was this $25 all you can drink for 3 hours deal, which I should never do because I can’t drink that much and when I pay like that I feel like I need to get my money’s worth and then drink way too much. Plus, at the front bar they were serving huge mixed drinks.. like in pint glasses. My recovery the next day keeps getting longer and longer. I’m getting too old! But it was a fun time and fun to hang out with everyone. As always, when drinking a lot, the photos aren’t as great as I’d have liked. Nothing looks blurry on the little camera screen when your vision is blurred to begin with.

Rachelle I must say you do socialize with some desireable women. Oh to be 20 years younger and have a job not bound for India and to live in Chicago, oh would not my life be paradise? :-)
Anyway though your blurb on getting your money’s worth reminds me of an old joke.

Two guys are sitting in (and at!)a bar and one says “I’m taking the bus to Jake’s Saloon, he’s having a special, 25 cents off the price of a draft beer”. His buddy says “Yes, but it’s two bucks bus fare round trip.” “Don’t worry” he replies. “I’ll stay long enough to get my money’s worth”!

I expected sometime much different from this post after reading the title.
