But I’d still like to find a solution to the problem. A couple people have emailled me tips that I’m going to try out and a friend of mine (Walt is the best!) who works at Six Apart is trying to check a few things out for me.

Were you still receiving comment spam? It didn’t seem like it from the list of recent comments on the sidebar.

the spam isnt making it through to the site, but it’s still hitting the script, so it’s still got the same affect on the server.
