  On August 1, 2006, I heard an ice cream truck go down the street, playing “Deck the Halls”. Immortalized here (search for “Aug”).

  Yesturday we were in New London for my neice’s birthday and Amanda’s sister gave us our Christmas presents already. She said she’s done with all her shopping. Crazy.

  Wow. This must be an all time new. I can see it in the papers; “Come to Target We haveChristmas Decorations for sale; find right by Haloween suppiles; also for sale Easter Bunnies!”

  I went to Pier 1 a few weeks ago and they already had their Christmas decorations out too. I don’t understand… what happened to Halloween and Thanksgiving?

  I used to be pissed about the fact that Christmas comes so early in the stores but after having to deal with crazy shoppers, traffic jams and the “spirit of the season” I shop early and opt out so I’m sorta happy the stores stock early. Plus that I get my Christmas cheque in October every year thru my christmas savings club so what the heck.
