El Barco, East Ukrainian Village, Chicago

On Monday night, Jordan and George’s last night in town, Dallas wanted to take them to El Barco. Danny had never been there either, so he came along too. Yum! Danny and Dallas had the big, whole snapper, Jordan had some carne asada and stuffes chile rellenos, and George and I shared this mixed grill. It was mounds and mounds of grilled seafood and potatoes and fish and chicken and steak. So good!

These photos kind of blow because we were outside and I couldn’t see. I have better photos of El Barco here and here.

You don’t know me, but I’ve been reading your blog for several months now, and really enjoy it. Your taste in music is great, I always seem to enjoy what you are listening to. So, on that note, what are you listening to now? I need some new tunes! Thanks, and keep up the fabulous work!

Came across your site via Yochicago. Enjoy reading your entries. Thanks for posting pics of the food at El Barco. I’ve driven by a few times and now I have to go. I’m sure my husband’s eyes will pop out of their sockets when he sees that whole snapper!
