My dad sent these photos a while back of the small town I grew up in. Show of hands: Who thinks he should go back and take photos of these same places to compare what they look like now, 100 years later?

Yes, he should definitely do it! There are entire books that go with that concept of “then” and “now” photos (maybe the postcards aren’t HIS photos, but still!).
