Remember the Seinfeld episode about the Big Salad? I think of it every time I’m waiting for the bus after work. The bus stop is right outside a deli that has this sign in the window. It’s hard to see, but this big salad includes:
- 1/4 lb. of salmon salad on a bed of lettuce with
- A small fruit cup
- A dallop of cottage cheese
- Sliced Cucumber
- Saltine Crackers
- Hard Boiled Egg
- Tomato Slices
Have you ever eaten there? I went my first day working in the West Loop, 1.5 years ago. (The lunch options really are weak, esp if you’re new). I think the patio umbrellas open inside pretty much sum it up. Food wasn’t too bad tho, although it was pretty much like making a sandwich at home.
everyone where I work says it’s horrible except 2 guys who continue to go (and get ridiculed by the rest of the office). you’re right about the options being slim… ogilvie train center .. again?!
