Last night Joanna and I attended a party to celebrate Chicago Gateway Green’s 20th birthday. There was tons of great food from local restaurants and lots of free booze too. The special guest was Mayor Daley. It was the first time I’ve seen him for real, live and up close. My first thought when he walked out: “Man, he’s short!”

I do love your pics, they’re just fantastic!! Hope you don’t mind if I took one and put it in my blog…I’ll link your site, anyway. It’s just that I was surfing through the Net looking for a pic representing the word “joy”, and I’ve found your pic with the chocolate chip cookies and thought: “Yes, THIS IS real joy!!”
Then I went down to your posts, and found them so cool…the pics really struck me, I loved them! Maybe cuz I’m Italian and I LOVE food (and live in the most amazing “foodish” Country of the World??)
