Frontera Fresco, The Loop, Chicago

I have a large backlog of photos I’ve taken and haven’t gone through and posted yet. A couple months ago I was downtown shopping on State Street. For lunch I tried out Frontera Fresco, the newest Rick Bayless restaurant, located inside Marshall Fields. My memory has dimmed a bit since the day I was there, but what I remember is that the food was great, for a fast food restaurant located inside a department store, and that it was really busy. I don’t think it took me a long time to get my food, but I do remember there were a lot of people and that the lines to order and to get your lunch were really confusing. Also, you got to pick what kind of Bayless’ salsa you wanted to go with your food. I’d go again.

I love Frontera Fresco, although the service can be a bit slow and lackluster.
