Fulton River District, Chicago
So many layers, I can stare at this for a long time and every time notice something new. Like see where there’s so many Metra trains it looks like a long wall? What do you see?

I see those verticle stripes of color in the middle right – red, blue, yellow, green, repeat. Is that a painted wall or train cars?
painted wall.. the metra train spans vertical right above that.

I can see it too, maybe there are garages?
But I focus on the sky, it is so blue and the clouds – they look like a cotton candy…
Beautiful..
Fulton was the name of my high school. But that is located in Vernon, B.C. Canada
Rachelle, the cloud formation on the upper left hand corner looks like a porpoise, swimming. You can see its’ head, with an eye and mouth, when you stare at it. This picture is a great when your’re meditating about the days events.
Yeah, I can see it. It looks like a porpoise (; and it has an eye (; you are amazing.
I saw your note about Pączki (; but I couldn’t leave my comment there, something has damaged.
We celebrate our Pączki Day on Thursday (; not on Tuesday (;
But it’s interesting, how do those people know about our, polish doughnuts? Whatever, they are yummy…
See that notebook laying on the railroad tracks? That’s mine. I threw it there. It’s a novel I’ve been working on for the past seven years.
I was riding on the train… heading down to see my mom. We had just pulled out of the station when my phone rang. It was my mom. She wanted to know why I was late. I told her I was up late writing and missed the early train. I told her I’d be a little late. She said “You’re still writing that book. I don’t know why you even try. You can’t write worth a damn. You never could”.
Her words hit me like a hammer. She was right. What was I thinking. I hung up the phone. I got up and walked down the aisle of the train. I got to the point between the cars and pulled the emergency door release. I threw the notebook out the door.
I walked back to my seat in silence.
When I arrived at the train station, my mom was waiting there in her car. I was surprised she was there. She usually made me walk to the house. I got in her Saturn. She turned to me and said “How was the ride down.” I look at her and said “Fine, but I lost something on the train”.
Hi,
I was wondering if you could help. I’m moving to Chicago in december with my Girlfriend and will need to get a place rented over there before we arrive. We are looking for something next to the lake and easy walk to the Mag mile. Do you happen to know of any buildings we should look at? We are going to be paying about $3000 pcm for a place so we want to to be modern. Sorry to hijack you blog it’s just you where the first one which came up! Thanks for all the info about chicago on your site and also thanks for your help.
