I miss New York bagels. And New York delis, in general. Having your own on your block, seeing the same guys every day, them getting to know you and your habits so well that they’re able to serve you without saying a word.

having lived in nyc for nearly ten years and now living in chicago myself, i have to recommend the ny bagel on touhy in lincolnwood. tastes just like home. mmmmmm.
