After brunch we went back to DUMBO, where Jeannette & Yvan live. Since it’s only a block or two away, we had to go to Jacques Torres. We totally love Jacques since he gave us that private, behind the scenes tour.. and even before that I was totally digging on him. The store had totally exploded with Easter candies and elaborate chocolate molds, but I just stuck with one small cup of hot chocolate, hot chocolate to go, and some chocolate covered macadamia nuts.

Delurking here … wow, how were you able to get a private tour with him? My mom would be so impressed. We’ll be heading out to Brooklyn for my counsin’s wedding (I live in California) and she is frothing at the mouth to go to his shop.
