On Sunday Dallas and I went to Rudy’s Taste for lunch. The cuisine is Guatemalan, primarily, but also Caribbean and Mexican and there are Cuban and Puerto Rican sandwiches thrown in for good measure. Read my review of Rudy’s Taste on Chicagoist.

Wow, that looks *great.* Reminds me a little of Cafe 28, where I had dinner last night.

we get the plantains at cafe 28 also! i’ve been there for both brunches and dinners and it’s really good, but a lot more high-end than rudy’s
