These photos aren’t that great, but Dallas and I had a great time at The Magic Numbers show on Saturday night. We’ve been listening to them as long as The Go! Team so it was cool to see them live. They’re always compared to ’60s pop groups like the Lovin’ Spoonful and the Mamas the Papas. The Magic Numbesr said that this was the last show on this tour so we were glad to get in to the sold out show (thanks Erin!). Dallas knew every single song except a few that they said were new. We were wondering if there will be a new album that they’ll be working on now that their tour is over.
The opening band, The Elected, was great too. I text messaged Scott while they were performing to see if he’d heard of them and he said they’ve been getting a lot of buzz lately. We’ll have to check out some of their music.
Dallas was also pretty excited that Double Door has Fat Tire beer now. The bartender said they just got it in a couple weeks ago. My feet hurt today from jumping around a lot last night. I don’t know what was up with that. Too much beer, I think!

i waent to college in the same town as the new belgium brewery and have been drinking fat tire since i’ve been legal (and i’m 33!) If it were legal, i’d mail you a six pack.

Blake from Rilo Kiley is in The Elected. So people are falling all over themselves to talk about them.

I saw Fat Tire beer at the Whole Foods Market at North and Clybourn yesterday.
