This week in Washington DC the weather was fabulous. Sunny and in the high 60s/low 70s. On Wednesday Kelly and I took Tessa for a long walk around the Tidal Basin where the cherry blossoms are all in bloom and everyone is celebrating the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

    Home Depot has little cherry trees for sale. They aren’t supposed to get over 10′. I’m so tempted, but I have no place to put it. If they were tart cherries (better for pies) instead of sweet cherries, I’d have bought one already.
