A couple weeks ago I saw my mom and she said “Oh! You got your hair cut! Usually you post it on your site, but I didn’t see it, I didn’t know.” And there’s a reason for that. I don’t mind the people who email me and say “Isn’t it about time for you to get a haircut?” when eerily, it is. Or the people who say they live 1,000 miles away but want to know where I got it cut because maybe they’ll swing by and get a haircut there. Those are kind of strange, but I can deal. What I can’t deal with are these strange international men emailling me who seem to have haircut fetishes. See below:

A friend of mine once posted a group photo of us on her sight and received mail from lesbian women around the world sending greetings and links to all sorts of fun websites.
At the time, I had my hair “Sharon Stone” short and apparently, I was noticed.
Her husband enjoyed all the mail though and hey, flattery is flattery!

That is the creepiest series of words I’ve ever heard strung together since “It puts the lotion on its skin…”
Maybe I’m weird but those don’t seem all that creepy to me – just seem like a couple of people who are legitimately in to hairstyles one even a hobby hairstylist and one who was searching for a new hairstyle. It’s probably more creepy that you actually liked to post pictures of your hairstyle – like an exhibitionist.
Those letters were pretty funny. I’d stop short of saying they were creepy, but they were a little . . . different. I guess I, too, would hesitate to post photos of that nature afterward, out of concern that I would be encouraging them to think that I’m complying with their requests.
Hmmm . . . I just don’t know what to think!
