I'd add that Green Zebra is some mighty fine cookin'. Love the photos -- so many familiar sites from my days living north of, and commuting near, that stretch of Noble Square. I nearly got killed on my bike once at Augusta & Milwaukee (my own fault, I pedaled absent-mindedly right through the red light for the highway off-ramp there about 2 secs ahead of a car), so I give the Polish Roman Catholic Union next door at least partial credit in my salvation.

You take awesome photos. Were the streets really that empty, or do you wait for people to clear out of your frame before shooting like I do?

Hi Rachelle,
I reached your blog while searching for a picture of Benito Juárez´s statue in Chicago. I visited your City in July 2003 for 1 week and I was hooked. I´ll be back sometime because Chicago is "my kind of town".

Greetings from Monterrey, Mexico
