Fake Plastic Food, Oak Creek, WI

I was in Wisconsin this weekend visiting my family. My niece Jessica, who will be 3 in a couple months, is obsessed with this fake plastic food she has. She plays with it and serves it to you. For some reason when she serves you with the cups she always says it’s coffee, even though neither of her parents drink coffee. One thing she did learn from my brother about beverages, though: When we were out to eat my mom drew a cup, or a mug, on a napkin and asked Jessica what it was, thinking she’d say “coffee.” She said “beer”!

Fake plastic food rocks. It’s pretty inexpensive, especially when you consider it’ll last pretty much forever, as long as the toddlers don’t stick it in their mouths. My 5-year-old niece has loved plastic food for several years now, so she has tubs full of it. Even Santa contributed to her collection this past year. :o)
