At first I wondered if this could possibly be true, but then I looked it up and it is. I don’t know how much a soda is, off the top of my head, but it seems like you could get a roundtrip ticket for about $128 ($2/soda?). I’m sure there are a million restrictions.

You have to CUT THE COUPON out from the cup — it’s not even a sticker! Talk about a deterrent.

    That’s pretty funny, though.

    $64 would be $2 each, not $128. But maybe it’s like 32 LARGE drinks…

$64 x 2 for a roundtrip ticket. it said 20 oz or 32 oz drinks. i dont know how much those are though.

That sounds too good to be true and I’ve never heard of that airline? Where does it all fly too?

Better get an aisle seat though. You’re gonna be peeing every five minutes during the flight from all those sodas.

Airtran flies out of Midway to all places south and east of Chicago. I think you can only buy five sodas at a time, but still, if you work in an office where people like Frosty’s and square hamburgers it might be a good deal.

there is no such thing as “east ukranian village.” there is a label that real estate agents applied to this general area called “east village.” but you are quite the poser and posturer (and definitely not from chicago) if you are calling it that. heck of a job, brownie!

Hey West Town Native…since at least 1996 there have been East Ukrainian Village signs on the streets…there was one in front of my house on Wolcott and Augusta. I’ll tell you what’s a real esate agent trick-calling that area Wicker Park. Rachelle has clearly indicated elsewhere on her website that she is NOT originally from Chicago, just like about 50% or more of the population on the North Side. There’s no rule about being from here, and you’re just plain being an asshole. So ease up over there, sunshine. It’s just a weblog.

good point, cheeky. i was going to ask west town native if he thought that real estate agents put up all the east village signs around the neighborhood.. signs that are pretty rusty, so you know they’ve been there a while.
