Yesterday the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that I’ve been tracking the building of was dedicated. Yesterday, being Veterans Day, was very appropriate. I had a feeling it was going to look enchanting at night, with the lights on, and it was. I spent a long time exploring the memorial, enjoying the view from the river, and taking photographs. It was very serene and relaxing. My dad is a Vietnam war veteran so I’d like to take him here some day.
Great photos. They did a good job with this one. Let’s hope the rest of the riverwalk turns out as nice and creative.
