Go Sox!, The Loop, Chicago

When I moved here I was lead to believe (by Cubs fans, of course) that the White Sox and their fans were the armpit of the city, but look what they’ve gone and done now. Proven me and everyone wrong! I’m not a big baseball fan, but I’ve been to two Sox games this year. … so Go Sox, I guess! With the Cubs (and their stink record), the Sox are our only chance in hell, it seems.

the cubs will never win. you’ll just have to learn that. but the cards…i can see them winning much sooner.

Ugh, I hate that North Siders try to brainwash newcomers into hating a particular part of the city.

Worse yet is when the newcomers take it as fact and don’t do any research on their own.

Cheers, Rachelle, for having the guts to make up your own mind. And Go Sox!

Yeah, those damn Cubs fans really do brainwash the newcomers.

Nice shot of the banners! I haven’t been downtown since they went up to see them. Ella tried to send me a pic from her camera phone, but it was difficult to see.

Young Rachelle when you were just two years old the White Sox had a home run hitting line up known as “The Southside Hit Men”.

Southside Hit Men baby, take that Cubs fans!!!!!!

You know what else whomever might read this? The White Sox trainer Herman Schneider he’s originally from Rochester New York and his sister, my mother was her sixth grade teacher. I know, who cares?

Yea- As a brainwashing Cubs fan I got to say that its not that the Sox fans are the armpit of the city, its just they spend more time hating the cubs than upping their own team (or going to games).

Even if the Sox win it this year their home games will still not sell out and going to comisky- er the Cell will still be boring. (besides the polishs with grilled onions)

Its not that the south side sucks or the sox fans suck- oh wait i guess it is. :)

killian is not Comiskey mostly surrounded by parking lots and interstate highway on and off ramps?

I was there in ’92 and that’s how I remember it. Just doesnt have Wrigley’s ambience inside or out.
