  Actually, they just cover the windows when they’re closed because there are dog cages right on the other side. I’ve seen it like that before, but the other day I drove by mid-day on a weekday and the window was full of puppies. The PAWS cat shelter near me on Clark also does that.

  benjy- maybe, but i’ve never seen it closed in the middle of the day. the other times last week i saw it was at night.. so that would make sense. i’ll have to keep an eye on it.

  I have been in this petshop and im furious with the animals living conditions! The dogs by the windows were shivering from being by the cold window. That is abosolutly ridiculus!!!! The dogs are also laying on a metal crate, the rarley are let out of the cages to run around or just to be free. I really belive that these dogs should have better living conditions. Please help these animals. All you have to do is spend about $20 to buy plastic to cover the windows, about $30 to buy some blankets from the thirft shop and it is free to walk the dogs outside now and then . And if u cant buy this stuff i will be more than happy to do it for you. Camille

  i have the best, and i do mean the VERY best yellow lab from Let’s Pet. My neighbor has another yellow (who is a dead ringer for mine) who is also healthy, athletic, and easygoing.

  can’t speak for the other breeds, but if you want a good lab, this is a great place.
