Max was accepted at Brooklyn Law School and is leaving for New York today. Last night was his going away party at Lava Lounge.
Somehow this was my first time to Lava Lounge, even though it’s in my neighborhood. Max DJed for part of the night and the rest of the night mingled around with friends. I was drinking Pacifico and talking to a guy about which beers I have had off Lava Lounge’s huge beer list. The bartender asked if I’d ever tried an Austrian beer called Stiegl. Based on my other preferences he though I’d enjoy it so I tried it out. Pretty good. I’m pretty sure Lava Lounge used to be a house because in the women’s restroom there is a bathtub.
