Candlelit Jenga, East Ukrainian Village, Chicago
On Sunday when I got home at 4pm the power was out. It came on briefly at 10pm and then was out until about 1:30am. Playing Jenga by candlelight reminded me of playing Rummikub by candlelight in the 2003 NY blackout.. except this blackout was much shorter.. and more sober.

I like that coffee table. How many matchbooks do you have?
the table is an ikea special. im not sure how many matchbooks are in there.. i’ve been collecting them for like 3 years or so.
I was just about to comment on the table – love the idea! Someone really cool must have helped you think of that. I want one too : )
So funny too because I was just telling someone about the rummikub blackout night! oh – Amber is engaged! Crazy huh!
