Audio Tour of Millennium Park, Chicago
I made an appointment for “after work” last Friday, not remembering it was a holiday weekend and our office was shutting down early. After the camera crew left, I had a few hours to kill before I had to be there so I downloaded the mp3s and put them on my iPod and took the audio tour of Millennium Park. More info on the tour is in my Chicagoist post.

While I was walking around looking at the features of the park and listening to a description and history of them on my iPod I took a photo of each thing with my iPod playing the mp3 about it. I got a lot of strange looks, but it was fun to turn it into a photo project. I think what Millennium Park is doing with the tour is really innovative. I could see this happening in all kinds of situations.. parks, museums, zoos. All those places that sell audio accompaniment. Except this way is FREE and you can keep the mp3s if you want.

I like how you photographed the fountain at Wrigley Square so it looks like the water is squirting outta your ipod.

You should post your pictures here: http://ipodlounge.com/. It would be cool to let others know what’s happening in our city. Enjoy your work with Chicagoist too.
