Jewel has these TVs at the check out now that give you household tips, recipes, and advertise products. I find them to be super annoying. Do you? Plus, wouldn’t they be more appropriate in the actual supermarket aisles where they could be used to influence what I buy? I don’t really need to be entertained while standing in the check out line for a few minutes!

I hate those new flat screens. I’m waiting until my next pair of contacts comes with a Pepsi ad stenciled on the actual lenses…

They probably put them there to detract people from flipping through (and subsequently not purchasing) the magazines…

ya know – I quickly looked at what was on that tv and couldn’t immediately discern what the hell was going on. for about 10 seconds I thought it was two people humping.
now I see what’s going on.
the two people humping would have been cooler.
“Humping” everybody!

Those monitors are full on annoying. I try to ignore them as much as possible.
Jewel in Wicker Park?
The one at Division and Ashland? Or is there one I am missing? The one on Ashland always to be such a pain in the backside.
And I agree. Porn at the grocery store would be cool.
