Bagpiper, Magnificent Mile, Chicago
Here’s one street performer you don’t see every day. The bagpiper. And I like how he was checking this chick out as he played. Across the street in the park by the old water tower I saw a guy playing an accordian and a little farther down there were some sisters playing classical music on violins and a cello. I guess it was the day for odd street performers.
We saw him in the same spot on Sunday. But that sighting wasn’t as strange as the viola-oboe duo that were playing on the train platform in Kenilworth on Monday morning.

On a recent, steamy day, some friends were commenting on the inequity between cyclists when women could get away with riding in a skirt. I mentioned that it was untrue, as I had just passed a guy riding in the Wells bike lane who had been wearing a kilt…
Well, that’s the guy!

i took several photos of the bagpiper.. this was the first one. i didnt wait around for this moment. like most everything i take photos of i just started takign them… then later decided which one i liked the best. i almost didnt post this because the girl passing by messed up my shot of the musician.. but then with the next few photos after this.. i realized he was totally looking at her as she walked by so i posted it.
