Last week a reporter from the Chicago Tribune called to talk to me about an article she was writing on coupon clipping. She contacted me via email initially when she saw this post on my website. Anyway, I thought that the story would be buried in the food or the money section or something.
On Sunday we were at Dallas’ cousin’s house and he was rifling through the paper and couldn’t find the article.. til he stopped and looked at the FIRST PAGE! Eep! And could I sound any more like a spinster!?

I’m pretty sure he is…but I’m also pretty sure she won’t respond to the question. Apparently she’s avoiding it for some reason…though it seems they may have just celebrated their one year anniversary. Did you guys meet on your trip in Hawaii?

i’ve got to say, dallas is one cool name. if you name your boy dallas, it pretty much guarantees that he’ll grow up to be a man’s man. sort of the opposite of naming a boy Sue.
anyway, it’s pretty clear who dallas is. it’s just funny that rachelle ignores all queries about him but then posts the picture of the anniversary plate.
maybe the next time you two go out for dinner, you can order a piece of cake and ask the chef to write ‘yes, everybody, dallas is my boyfriend’ in chocolate on the plate. and then post that picture on your blog.
Well maybe she just wants to keep her private life private. Let it go, people.
