Josh & Tweeny have a samoyed named Salt. They think he’s about 12 years old but aren’t exactly sure because they got him as an older dog, not a puppy. He’s so beautiful and is the nicest dog ever except when you crowd him and he starts growling and you think he’s thinking about biting you and you try to smile and not make a scared face and Dallas takes your photo. Not that that actually happened or anything.
After the game, Josh, Tweeny & Salt crashed over. The next day they were off to Minnesota to go to the Mall of America and continue on their journey to the West Coast.

Sandi & Fred raised samoyeds. They are awesome dogs. What happened to your knuckles? They look scraped in that pic?

Oh, dear. I just got my “April” Dreamhost newsletter, and realized that I’ve heard from Josh quite a lot in the last few years…

that is so funny bc the night they were in town last week was also the first time i realized that it was the same josh! i’ve had my site hosted at dreamhost since early 2003. .. but I did just meet Josh last fall.. so..

Amazing what a small world it is. I’ve been reading your blog for probably three months now, I found it while searching for info on the Sun-Times building.
Like pjm above, when I saw the name “Tweeny” on the latest Dreamhost newsletter usually written by “Josh”, I immediately remembered reading about them here, and made the connection. How cool!

yeh.. they’re arent too many people named Tweeny out there… it’s a memorable name.
