Yesterday Tien said he had a friend in town and asked if there was anything going on. I suggested a few things but told him that most of the people I knew were going to be celebrating the Cubs home opener ALL day and ALL night.
As is their yearly tradition, Jill & Brian had their Cubs party. People started coming over at about 10 am, some went to the game, some just stayed at the party. Dallas, Katie and I didn’t take off work for the event and didn’t get there untl about 8 pm and it was still going strong.. although Brian was drinking the ever-so-potent Dasani.. never a good sign when the host of a party switches to water. Long day for them, I’m sure.. and I think half of Chicago was there along with people who came in from Michigan and Boston just for the event.
At about 10pm we headed over to Dallas & Kristin’s for an after party that went on past 2am. If you can say anythiing about these people, it’s that they can drink.
i think you take some terrific photos rachel. i wish you would post some tutorials, i’d love to learn how to take photos like that.
but you didn’t invite my friend, did you?
and who’s this rachel chick?
tien – what did your friend end up doing? i didnt really know if i was going to the party or not until i walked out the door and went.
yeah, i don’t know. it’s okay. just playin with you. besides, don’t you think that would have been awkward?
uh.. yeh. maybe.
wtf is left/right/center?
Looks like a fun party!! That slow shutter flash is working great – try it outside at night, too. I talked my friend into getting a A95 and he’s taking some great photos with it too. I’ve been taking pics during my friend’s independent filmmaking – check out the photos at http://www.albertxavier.com and some theater for sex education in NYC – http://www.nitestar.org. I love your photos and blog, even if it’s not in NYC anymore.
Left Right Center game. Except we play with dollar bills, not chips.
