Photos from the last 2 days. For a long time they were just drilling and setting up supports around the Trump construction site. There seems to be more of a variety of action going on now, although I suspect it’s all still related to laying a base and supports for the skyscraper.

it seems like they keep hitting water.. like today that hole they’re digging in the second photo was like a quarter full of water. is this because they’re by the river? or am i jumping to conclusions that that’s where the water is coming from? and if it is from the river.. does that seem really bad?

I would think that the water would probably be from the river. If you continued the plane of the river surface to continue thru the construction site, then that is at what level any excavaion would likely fill with water.

Roadwork Grid?
I’m guessing this gridwork is to rebuild the road that was torn down? Wabash? It looks kind of like the grid they ripped down. Also, in the past we’ve seen that the construction crew are Illini fans.. now we…
