Dallas made this salmon tonight. He coated it with a special mixture/rub and then pan seared it then baked it. I can’t tell you the recipe for the rub, but can you guess the main ingredient?
I’ll have to guess sugar cause it looks nice and caramelized. You know what turns out really great is if you put mayo on top and open a bag of onion soup mix and sprinkle it on top. Bake it for no more than 25 mins at 350. The secret is to not overcook the salmon. That is sooo good!
SWEET! Well, ummm….literally. hehe. What can I say, it just comes to me! *lol* It really compliments my humbleness quite nicely. *lmao* Mmmm…I bet that Salmon was really good.
Some friends and I had a bbq last spring where we grilled salmon with an Asian marinade, then made a mixture of brown sugar & cayanne and used a creme brulee torch to carmelize it! Added a nice crispy crust to the top.
Is Dallas your boyfriend?
Well I’m gonna guess the main ingredient is salmon… but if you mean the “rub” I’ll say curry.
