


Benito Juarez in the Plaza of the Americas, Magnificent Mile, Chicago
Ever since the Sun-Times building destruction began I’ve had to change my walking route to work. Now every day I say good morning and sometimes good evening to Benito Juarez, the former Mexican president who is regarded as Mexico’s greatest and most beloved leader. He’s been looking really cold lately. Someone should sculpt him a scarf and hat already.

That’s a pretty cool statue! Nice pics! You’re right about the scarf and hat though—even snowmen got em!

Hey! I was doing a google search for: plaza of the americas chicago juarez and lookie who appears NUMBER ONE! I just HAD to click through and see what you wrote. It’s funny you mention that you think he needs a scarf, cuz i was just commenting to someone that I want to photograph him wearing a scarf!
