On Friday afternoon we shopped around Georgetown. We were going to eat at an Indian restaurant on M Street, but it wasn’t open yet at the time we were hungry, so we got Vietnamese at Miss Saigon, a restaurant Rosa had recommended to us the day before.

The first time I heard someone use the phrase “surf the web” was when I was riding up those escalators. Odd how a photo can dredge up a random memory.

heh. I went to school at Georgetown for 2 years (before transferring elsewhere) and this is the first time I’ve seen photos of the place since then. Whew. Brings back the memories.

I want to buy a dressy dress from the Georgetown store. I saw two in the second floor of the Georgetown stores.

    Dear Miss Rachel,

I have been there at December 2003 in Georgetown Washington with a good buddy nearly 2 years ago. Geeh, that really brings up some memory. I remember at this time it was so that cold (I mean really really cold) that we decided to buy some serious coats. I remember that he bought his coat at Benetton and I found a nice one at ZARA. We nearly did shopping the whole night. It was just awesome. And at least after the shopping we went back to our hotel to prepare for nice clubbing. We ended at a nice BAR and Lounge with nice people dancing all around. Eveybody knew that we are kind of stylsih people from Europe. LAter a magician came to us and invited us to a private Magic party. We felt like stars there. Never forget that nice City…

my time in D.C. was by far my lifes best . i will always keep fond memories of Wisconsin and M.streets. i always speak, or should i say “brag” fondly of Georgetown, i miss it. my biggest fear is if i visit i would ruin my memories to find so different a place then the Georgetown that i left behind
