The first winter storm of the season is always brutal but yesterday’s seemed especially bad. It was BARELY above freezing outside and there were very strong winds. This meant that the snow was really wet and freezing cold and that at times it was hard to walk because of the powerful gusts. I came home soaking wet and left most everything I was wearing and carrying in the front entry.
I live on the blue line, the line that goes ot O’Hare, and on the way home the trains were filled with people with luggage. It will be interesting to see how my flight goes today!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I’m glad I wasn’t around to witness the snow… I’m not sure if we got any in Milwaukee or not, but I heard we were supposed to. Yuk.

I hope the travel worked out, it looked brutal out there. Thanks for the pictures from the neighborhood! I took some photos of the area on Thursday afternoon and finally got around to posting some on my site if you want to see what it looked like the next day.
