I spent this weekend in Wisconsin visiting with family. Kelly & Jeff were in from Virginia to visit my grandpa, who’s health has not been so great lately. He was just diagnosed with the Big C so you never know what could happen. It was a lot of driving – Chicago to Milwaukee to New London to King to New London to Appleton to New London to Milwaukee to Chicago. The driving sucked, but it was good to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a long while. And I even drove some legs of the trip, believe it or not.

MMMmmM! Leinenkugels! I actually like Leinenkugels original best, I never tried their Bock beer…

Is that a cocker spaniel or a mix that Richard is holding?
He looks like my mother’s dog, Bailey. Maaaan, I want a dog!

Leineys Red is one of my favorite beers. Honey Weiss is ok too, but Berry Weiss is terrible. The Big Butt was pretty good.

I feel that she was crying because she missed me so much. Later, she was very content. I’m sure, if she wasn’t so tired, she would have cried when she left too.
