Yesterday Billy and Josh ran in the Chicago Marathon. Both finished at just under 5 hours. Crappily, we missed them on the route, they were going faster than we’d expected and by the time we got to 18th and Ashland they’d already passed. We figure we probably missed them by only 5 minutes or less. After showering we had a post-marathon lunch of champs at Popeyes (I had Subway, but still.. ). Later on we went out for drinks and dinner. We wanted to have them go out to a neighborhood spot, but since they could barely walk from running the marathon, we ended up going to Rock Bottom, which is near their hotel. Still had a great time. It was fun to see them again and to meet new friends.
