This weekend Billy, Ging, Josh, Tweeny, Elina, and Dan are in town because Josh and Billy are running the Chicago Marathon tomorrow. Today we had Italian Beef sandwiches at Mr. Beef, walked around Millennium Park, checked into the marathon and loaded up on carbs at Cafe Luciano.

Thanks for the laugh out loud moment on this Sunday morning with the Mr. Beef pic! The juxtaposition of Josh’s pose, bag, facial expression under the caption of Mr. Beef is wonderfully funny.
I love your site, Rachelle. Your pictures really make Chicago and New York City come to life for me.

HA! We dropped by Mr. Beef on Saturday at around 2:15. They keep a couple beefs around when they close for late-comers like us. It was delicious — my fiance has never had Mr. Beef.
For complete zaniness, check out ULTIMATE BEEF on Ashland between Chicago and Augusta. He has an ITALIAN SAUSAGE BURGER which is totally insane.
Thanks for the photo love,
