In the entire Ukrainian Village, including the East Village, Chicago Avenue between Damen and Western is what felt the most like Little Poland and where the most evidence of its Eastern European roots came through.

Hi. I’m interested in your photographs. My family has lived in East Village since the 1940’s and I’m wondering if you have images of any of the homes are currently built up and those that were torn down north of Chicago Avenue, south of Division???? Also, I can’t believe I spy a picture of Barnaby and Carolyn!
