Today marks the 3rd year anniversary of my site in its current format, although I’ve had a website or “home page” for going on 10 years. You’ll notice now that under “Remember This?” in the right-hand bar, 2001 is showing. So it will show what it posted on this day in 2001, 2002, and 2003.

Grilled Salmon & Lentil Salad – Thanks, Peapod!

Yesterday I got my first Peapod delivery. With the food that I ordered, I grilled some salmon that I marinated in a lemon/dill/garlic sauce and made a lentil salad with feta cheese. I also threw together a small green salad with mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, Gorgonzola cheese, candies pecans and a balsamic vinaigrette.

These murals are on Milwaukee Ave. at Wabansia – across from Blockbuster. Does anyone know who the artist is? I’m having trouble finding out more information on them.
