Landscaping! Yay!

Landscaping

I came home tonight and thought for a minute that I was at the wrong house. There was a landscaping crew in a truck at my curb and my front yard is completely landscaped with sodded grass and a renovated flower bed. What a nice surprise!

I’m a Bookworm, You Think?

Books

I finally just now got most of my books unpacked that have been sitting here boxed up forever. My office is starting to look more like an office and less like a room filled with boxes and junk. I also found my Mickey Mouse rug that I’ve had since I was about 2-3 years old and lived in Orlando. Thanks again to my dad for taking me to Ikea, and to Kristin for helping me assemble the bookcases.

Today my dad came down from Wisconsin and I surprised him by having breakfast ready when he arrived. We had Double Cinnamon French Toast, Fruit Salad with Honey-Lime Dressing, turkey sausage, and peanut butter cup cookies. Later on we went to Ikea. I needed to buy bookcases and realized that after I unpack my books from the boxes that they’re in I’d no longer have a living room table. My old table was two boxes of books with two shelves balanced between them. So I bought a table too. So far I only have the table assembled. Anyone want to help put together bookcases?
