Hmm. . . Gorging ourselves at Taste of Chicago wasn’t enough, so after running errands downtown Nancy came down from Milwaukee and we went to Margie’s Candies for ice cream!! And then we met Abby and Kristin out and had a nice dinner at Settimana Cafe and went out for drinks after that. The next day we got up and had breakfast and then Jeannette & Tien had to leave for the airport. Thanks for visiting guys, I had a great time (even if it was too short and all we did was eat)! I’ll see you in September.

It was nice meeting you Tien! And great seeing you again Jeannette! I wish I could’ve gotten there earlier and ate all day with you guys!

I have to add that I saw the “empty” chocolate box in the garbage this morning. Which could only mean that Josh ate the ENTIRE box in one day. One day in which we were gone most of!!

omg, nancy – that is HILARIOUS. i guess josh liked the terrapins?! heh. did you even get to try any of them?

it was great to see you, too! i wish we could’ve hung out more as well. it was an action-packed, food fest of a day.

I like my fudge with a side of ice cream, personally. I’ll dig the fudge swirls out from Vanilla Fudge Swirl ice cream.

  • Nan

jeannette, no, i did not get to taste any of them. but that’s ok – i’m not a huge chocolate fan. (i know, i’m weird)

I was going to say how good the sundae looked, and then I saw the yellowfin. Oooh, I am so jealous!
