Almost more interesting than the book fair last weekend was the Printer’s Row neighborhood. The neighborhood, as its name suggests, was once the center of Midwest publishing.

Hi! You don’t know me- but Im moving to Chicago next month and am attempting to find an apt BEFORE I arrive, without seeing anything or knowing the city at all. I googled Chicago and your site appeared. I wasn’t going to look- but Im so damn glad I did! Beautiful photos! Thank you!
