Saturday I went up to Wisconsin for the day. Nancy and Josh are adopting and we knew it could be any day that they get the news that a baby is available for them, so in preparation Nancy’s family threw a shower for her. The big surprise was that just last Tuesday they were told that a baby girl in Guatemala is theirs. It will be a few months before they can go down and get her but this is such great news. Nancy and Josh have wanted children for so long and have tried so hard to have their own… I’m so happy they will finally have a baby, and one that is in desperate need of a good home. I can’t wait to meet Riley!

oh my gosh Rachelle. Being that I was a little late for the shower, I missed the “announcement” so i just watched the video. I’m sitting here bawling happy tears for Nan and J ! great movie ! Wish I was there on time ! I’m so happy for them !

Yes, those cards are hand-made. Took 2 of us a few hours of printing, trimming, and assembling on Friday night.
