Yesterday the song Bootylicious came on my iPod and the bass was rattling so badly in my right ear bud that I couldn’t even hear the song. So last night I finally bought some new headphones. These are Apple’s in-ear model.
Confession: Since I returned from vacation I have been cheating on rachelleb.com and writing daily for another site. Until that site is officially launched and I get into a groove, updates here will be sporadic.

Spend and half-hour on the Chicago CTA subway system and the iPod owners stand out. You can always spot them by the distinctive white cords of their headphones. Locals have dubbed them iSnobs. They make easy targets for ipod muggers. Throw away your white headphones and get some generic black ear buds.

not to get into the whole “people who use ipods and have apple headphones are snobs” discussion again, but i bought these headphones off of recommendations generated from this post and also based off the recommendation of 2 friends of mine.
