Saturday at noon, Kristin, Cousin, Dallas & I flew out of Lihue, Kaua’i to Honolulu on Oahu. We had lunch at Duke’s Waikiki and then had to drop Dallas off at the airport for his flight to Boston. Kristin, Cousin & I shopped around a bit and then had a couple beers on a skydeck and watched the sun set. We then went back to the airport to catch our 9pm redeye back to Chicago. Rob & Sarah left from Kaua’i to Boston & Washington D.C.

  1. Hey, I had fish tacos at Duke’s back in November! I’ve really enjoyed your photos from Hawai’i.

I was wondering how you managed all your photos. Do you have a mess of cf cards, or did you download them to your ipod, or something else?

  2. we had 4 digital cameras on the trip, 2 laptops, and 1 card reader. 3 of the cameras were canons and their storage media was compatible with my card reader so we downloaded all the photos as we went along in the vacation. on the last night we burned them all on to CDs so we could all have a copy to take home with us.

the fish tacos at duke’s are yummy. I also had ahi sashimi and some crab wontons.

  3. Thanks! I’m going on vacation next week, nowhere near as exotic, and was wondering how to handle all the photos. I’m not in the market for a laptop though…

You ready to go back? What would you do in Kaua’i that you didn’t get to do this time?
