Filming Notice at Dynamic Studio, Wicker Park, Chicago
Show of hands - who thinks I should call in sick on the day that George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Casey Affleck, Bernie Mac et al may be in my neighborhood, or even on my street, filming Oceans 12?
Other movies being filmed in Chicago this year include The Weatherman, Batman Begins, and Ice Harvest.

i think you should call in sick–volunteer to be an extra, buy a new outfit, make your home-made chili–feed them and get a date with one of those seven guys. What have you got to lose?

Only you know how flexible your job is on things like this. Personally, I say go for it, but not by calling in sick.

there’s really no way i could take tomorrow off with my given work load and with actually going on vacation next week. last week i was legitimately sick and took a day off where i just layed on the couch all day. im still catching up from that day. the filming notice did say that they would be there from 3 am - 10 pm so i will hope that something is going on both before & after work.

Isn’t that the place we walked by when I was down there a couple weeks ago? I thought that you said somthing about a movie being filmed, but that you didn’t know yet which one.
I think you owe it to your diligent readers to spend every waking moment (when not at work) hanging out trying to get a photo of Matt Damen, et all. Besides, its only two blocks away from your house. I’m sure you have nothing better to do.

yeh, that’s the same place. this is a new notice. the last notice just said that a warner brothers film was being shot but didnt say which one.

Oceans 11 is a great movie and I know oceanss 12 will be just as good or better. I enjoy the dry humor of the actors

I was in Amsterdam during the first week of May and Clooney, Pitt, and Damon were there filiming. Supposedly they filmed a scene at the Dampkring Coffee/Smoke shop of them doing vaporizer hits.

My sister is going to be in Oceans 12!! She may have a speaking part!! :-)!! I know this sounds stupid… But when your family isn’t very famous it’s sure cool!!!
