The Map Room is a great bar on the corner of Armitage & Hoyne (1 Block west of Damen:1949 N Hoyne Ave; around the block from Glory). I used to live down the block. Great beer selection w/ a hand pull tap.
Welcome to Chicago, by the way. If you’re interested, I’ll send you some suggestions of places and things off the beaten path. You also need to get a hot fudge sundae at Margies (Western & Armitage) it’s a real ice cream shop. The hot fudge is homemade. Enjoy.
