Texas Crystal

Texas Crystal
Texas Crystal Water, Austin, TX

The back of the Texas Crystal Water bottle reads

“Texas Crystal originates deep underground from a pure, natural aquifer in Central Texas. It is brought through an orifice without any surface or atmospheric exposure; it is never chlorinated. Texas Crystal provides seven barriers of purified protection, absolute quality, and safety. Grab A Taste of Texas!”

Am I the only one to cringe at “brought through an orifice” ?

  1. Uh, yeah. I would bet that whoever wrote that label didn’t make it past 9th grade. Almost as good: about 15 miles west of Austin, there’s a city named Dripping Springs. Some guy out there collects, bottles, and sells rain water. Sold at Whole Foods of all places.

  2. Hey! Not ALL Texas public schools are bad, I was left behind in 1st grade ONLY twice.

(that was a joke, I actually graduated in the top 10 of my class….of 11..heh, I keed!)

  3. Heh, seriously now, not all public school are that bad down here. I was fortunate that I went to a public school in a small community, smaller classrooms, excellent teachers, and yes, I did graduate in the top 10 of my class, for real. But I have heard horror stories of some public schools with Stalin-type school boards resulting in resignation of almost all of the school’s administrative staff and a majority of the best teachers, resulting in lackluster curriculum for the kids.

  4. I agree with tien
According to Bush no child is left behind in
Texas public school or any school in this nation
    If you belive that?
