After Kick! and after attending some panels in the afternoon, we met up with Ted and Michelle for dinner. Nick, Ted and Michelle are all here for the film festival so they were off to see a showing of Supersize Me after dinner, while Walt and I attended an Interactive party thrown by Frog Design. I wasn’t really into the party so we only stayed a while before heading back to 6th Street, having a beer, then returning to the hotel. When Nick arrived he taught us how to play Texas Hold’em and we stayed up playing with change until about 3:30 a.m.

This is too weird, I was in Austin this weekend at the festival, to see Supersize Me. 6th Street is cool isn’t it, I mean it’s no LES, but for Texas it’s ok.

I was signed up for the interactive conference, not the film conference. Nick was signed up for film.. he saw Supersize me and Jersey Girl. And yes, Kevin Smith was there. According to Nick he talked to the audience for like 45 minutes. Also, we saw him in the Houston airport yesterday.. he was on Nick’s flight to LA.

Rachelle: It was good meeting you in Austin. FWIW, I’m from Dallas so that’s how I was able to drive back ;).
In any case, do you have the aperture/shutter info for these photos? In particular, I’m curious about “6th Street, Austin TX” as its exposure looks to be just about right (and the blurred passers-by are a pleasant side effect). And, did you set the camera for automatic settings or did you force aperture or shutter priority?
