Arriving in Chicago
Arriving in Chicago last Sunday, February 29, Jess and I were greeted by my parents, my brother, my two nieces and my friends Nancy and Josh. My landlord showed up shortly after. It was a bit overwhelming at first because I was so stressed out from the move and the traffic and about getting the keys, etc. .. but as soon as things settled down I was so grateful to have everyone there to help me. Also, thanks to my Aunt Sue who, along with my parents, went all out in getting me apartment starters like dish soap and towels and potato chips x 20. Thanks again to everyone for all of your help.

I love the pics - they really do a good job telling the day! It was so great to see all your family, Nancy and Josh there to greet us. They were definately excited to see you arrive!
They were great and thanks for the personal support I needed that day too

Glad to see you made it to the Windy City. Any chance of you and Janie Porche becoming friends, now that you live in the same city??

She wouldn’t exactly tell us what was in the ‘private’ box. She said they were ‘presents’ and that she didn’t want anyone to see them. Yeh, right.

there’s a present for steph and a present for nancy in that box. jess was there when i bought the gift for nancy and the thing for steph i got when i was in seattle and it has been in my closet in nyc since then. i have to wait for her birthday to give it to her. both nancy & steph were helping with teh unloading & unpacking so i didnt want them to open the box and i new i wouldnt be able to keep track of who was doing what so i wrote “private” on the box

right…”private”, “closet”…we all know what’s private and goes in the closet.
